Not the best quality but great for the price. Delivery was prompt and packaged well, only 4 days to Australia which is amazing at xmas time. Could not get it up at first as the pulley had tangled but the neighbours fixed that. I live on a golf course near the ocean and there is always a breeze and the umbrella is not moving. If it gets windy I will just put it down.The beige colour is nice and if the umbrella gets wrecked the cover comes off and can be put on another umbrella. One complaint, I paid $177 and found it later on facebook with Amazon for $125.16 (spewin) but I am sure Amazon will rectify this as I have found them pleasant to deal with. Will post a photo later. They are all very expensive, some in the thousands of dollars. This one is synthetic and made out of polyester but is very well made. The post is real wood. I had to file down the 1 7/8 inch a bit to fit into my 1 3/4 inch PVC pipe base, but it worked just fine. It was made in China and is 100% polyester but very well made. It looks fantastic. I am not sure how long it will last in the Arizona sun, but I am going to get a cover and get the most out of it. When I ordered this there were no reviews so I took a chance. I am glad I did. It will suit me just fine for a fraction of the cost. |
